Yagi says it’s important to step away from work, school, etc. every once in a while to decompress and enjoy life.

Introduction

I go by Yagi, I’m a photographer from Virginia. I try not to get caught up in one specific area of photography, I feel like having range is what makes it fun for me. I have a lot of personal interest, so I like to shoot anything that revolves around that. (Cars, clothes, family, friends)

What inspired you to get into photography and explore different avenues of photography?

In the beginning I never really saw it as a career option, it was just me messing around with my moms camera in high school. I eventually started to take it with me everywhere whether it was soccer practice, the skate park, hiking, family events or just hanging out with my friends it was always fun to taking pictures of my life as it happened

What is some words of wisdom you live by?

The world is yours

What is an ultimate goal of yours?

To find happiness in everything I do

What is a positive message you would like to tell others?

When it comes to anything you find Interest in trying is the first step and the hardest part for many, so if you get past that things only get easier from there

What is something you’ve struggled with in life?

Keeping myself from burning out, it’s important to step away from work, school, etc. every once in a while to decompress and enjoy life. More recently over the last year I’ve been been focusing on this

Last question how do you feel about life?

I find life to be overwhelming at times but I never let anything get me too down, I try to find enjoyment in something no matter my situation because at the end of the day I’m still grateful to be alive
