Introduction
I’m Charissa Cooper – a small town girl with a big city heart. I’m a Flight Attendant, Model and Business Distributor.
I also am a BA Graphic designer specializing in Advertising, Business Management. I enjoy writing poetry, children’s novels and soon want to release a book in the future – honestly never a dull moment in my life.
Yes, I’m a jack of all trades and I’m an Artist too. I have a major passion for art by heart.
I am from a small town Called Malmesbury, but currently looking after my mentally disabled father.
What is your inspiration for all of this?
I think I always wanted to be an independent woman since my parents got divorced. I never wanted to reply on my parents at all.
Let me tell you a secret I kept for so long. My inspiration comes from hurt. I was severely bullied in school and abused at home as well. So I never really at a place I could call home or where I felt safe as a child. Perhaps some people never even knew this about me and maybe some can relate and remember. I was a victim of GBV for so long. So many days I felt alone and rejected. I never ever felt accepted my whole life. And I always asked myself but why and thought it was me. I took the hurt and I started to write children’s novels regarding bullying. I wanted to fight for others who never had a voice to be heard for their pain inside. I wanted to challenge myself to work hard and make something from my life and focused on my career instead.
What is some words of wisdom you live by?
Never give up and never stop trying.
Believe that there is a plan for you regardless of what happens.
One step forward is a step closer to success.
If you never try you will never know – so don’t ever live in fear.
Always be YOU and embrace you… Our imperfections are what makes us perfect as unique individuals.
What is your ultimate goal in life?
I have a few goals for sure. I want to be happy. I honestly want to achieve more than what I could dream for….and I’m not planning on giving up yet!
1. I already got in with Emirates which is the top leading airline in the world. Did u know is harder to get into Emirates than what it is to get in with Oxford or Cambridge.
2. I need to release a book and I promise to amaze all my future readers for sure!
3. I want a place I can call home… Something that makes me feel safe as a woman and as an individual.
4. To inspire others and to be able to support others
What is something you’ve struggled with in life, past or present?
That’s a fantastic question!!! I have definitely struggled with a few things in my life. And I think a lot of people do struggle in life without being heard.
I couldn’t accept myself as a woman or individual – due to being bullied at a very young age. I was just too young to understand and questions myself and my belief system. I took me about 15 years to understand the meaning of my life and what I want out of it.
When u realize your worth as a person – it’s honestly a magical moment and feeling! And I want each person to be happy with themselves.
Last question, what are your plans for the rest of 2020?
I honestly want to get back into flying again – it’s my passion to serve and help people. I’m truly passionate about flying and believe that my home is in the sky. I received numerous compliments from passengers and receive my Golden Star as a flight attendant – and for me that was my goals. I have flown with Miss Universe, to Local celebrities and of course the President and Minister of Police. It’s such a rewarding job that I’m sincerely passionate about.
I also want to open my fashion business
